Babylon Film Institute is an independent cultural and artistic institution dedicated to enriching the creative scene in Iraq and creating spaces for artistic expression that reflect societal issues while showcasing Iraq’s rich civilizational identity through the arts, particularly documentary cinema.

The institute was founded on the belief that culture and art are a soft power capable of driving positive change, and that Iraq possesses creative talents that deserve to be nurtured and introduced to the world.
